Crossroads Farm trains horses and riders in the hunter/jumper discipline, to learn the basic principles from the ground up. Our team of trainers specializes in progressing young or green horses under saddle, polishing horses to be competitive in the showring and retraining horses that need a new start in their career. Each horse and rider experiences an individualized training program according to their ability. This builds confidence and creates a proper foundation to go as far as you wish to go in the hunter/jumper discipline. Whether you’re looking to be competitive on the “A” circuit, or just wishing to have fun learning with your horse at home, we can accommodate your dreams!  To learn more about our trainers, click here.

Option 1:

We offer ala carte lesson and training services. Lessons for non-boarders are $55/hour, and are offered in a small group format of typically about 4-5 students per lesson. Students are grouped according to age as well as ability level. Lessons for boarders are $45. Training rides for the horse are $30.  Lesson horses are available.

Option 2:

This package is ideal for the horse owner looking to improve their horse’s abilities, strengthen them as a pair, or both. Our full-training package is $450/month, and includes 4 training sessions per week that can be broken up between lessons and training rides. Turnout, mane pulling and clipping for shows, and discounted training rates at the horse shows are included in full- training.

Option 3:

This package is suitable for a young horse just starting its career or a green horse still learning the basis of groundwork and riding. We offer shorter schooling sessions for weanlings through 3-year-olds, focussing on groundwork, in-hand, and show preparation for the hunter breeding divisions for $20/session. We can also arrange for horse breaking services, for young horses in our program.

Horse Boarding:

Boarding is available for clients who are involved in our lesson and training program. Board rates vary from $400-$550, depending on what type of stall the horse is in. This includes full use of our beautiful state-of-the-art facility.
